Our application is engineered with a strict data-minimization approach. We only access data required to perform the core service:

• Authentication Information: When you log in, we generate and store a secure JSON Web Token (JWT) locally inside your browser's chrome.storage.local memory block. This is only used to authorize requests to our API.
• Review Text Content: When you click the "AI Smart Reply" button next to a customer review, the extension reads the public text content of that specific review and the reviewer's public username. This is passed temporarily to our secure API.
• Business Profiles: We store the name, industry type, and target keywords of the business profiles you explicitly configure inside the extension popup so the AI can craft context-aware, localized answers.

2. How Data is Used

The public review text and your custom business profile settings are sent securely via HTTPS to our backend server and processed using secure LLM models (e.g., OpenAI/Gemini) to generate your reply. **We never sell, distribute, rent, or monetize your data.** Your customer reviews are processed solely in real-time to generate responses and are not used to train global AI models.

3. Single Purpose Declaration

In strict compliance with Google Developer Program Policies, this extension operates with a single purpose: to provide local businesses with an AI-powered helper that generates high-quality, SEO-optimized review responses directly inside their active Google Business Profile review cards.

4. Data Security

All transmissions between the Chrome Extension and our Vercel-hosted API are encrypted using standard Industry-grade Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL). Stored credentials are encrypted and isolated within Google's browser sandbox environment.
